WHO IS THIS BITCH

I was searching the internets for things I was thinking about (started out with top surgery and then strayed to other things) and stumbled on neutrois.me. Surfing through the posts, I found one explaining what neutrois meant to this person, using stereotypes. I had never thought about it that way before, and it helped me get a bit more perspective on non-binary genders. So I wrote down the things I like (I tried to keep it to “the biggest things” but I think that I strayed a bit, but I also think the the list I’ve come up with is pretty representative of me) and assigned them as either masculine, feminine or neutral based on stereotypes. Based on the list, my interests come out as 54% neutral, 31% feminine and 15% masculine. That’s actually kind of a relief to me. I thought that lately I’ve been “too masculine”. At first, being masculine was great, and I felt kind of pressured to be more masculine since the only times I’ve really felt gendered, I was masculine. But it became increasingly uncomfortable to trying to be “manly” and I didn’t like it. I’ve also been wondering if androgyne is really an apt way to describe me. I don’t think I identify as neutrois, either, and I would still like to look androgynous, but gender-neutral seems pretty fitting for right now.
